Estes gal\u00e0xies s\u00f3n anomenades gal\u00e0xies sat\u00e8l\u00b7lit ja que giren al voltant d&#8217;una altra gal\u00e0xia major amfitriona. En el model 3D del Grup Local de gal\u00e0xies pots con\u00e8ixer les gal\u00e0xies sat\u00e8l\u00b7lit d&#8217;Andr\u00f2meda i de la Via L\u00e0ctia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Les gal\u00e0xies sat\u00e8l\u00b7lit es troben sota l&#8217;influx de la intensa for\u00e7a de gravetat de la gal\u00e0xia central, que en alguns casos provoca el seu paulat\u00ed desmembrament per les marees que hi indueix: la gal\u00e0xia amfitriona va atraient gas, pols i, sobretot, estrelles de les sat\u00e8l\u00b7lits mentre giren al seu voltant, apareguent reguers estel\u00b7lars al llarg de les seues traject\u00f2ries a l&#8217;espai. Estos reguers s\u00f3n anomenats, t\u00e8cnicament, corrents estel\u00b7lars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\" wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\" wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\">La gal\u00e0xia nana esfero\u00efdal de Sagitari<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Es tracta d&#8217;una xicoteta gal\u00e0xia amb l&#8217;aspecte d&#8217;una pilota allargada i d&#8217;uns 10.000 anys llum de di\u00e0metre, capturada per la nostra fa uns 4 o 5 mil milions d&#8217;anys. La seua \u00f2rbita al voltant de la Via L\u00e0ctia \u00e9s polar, \u00e9s a dir, es despla\u00e7a perpendicularment al disc de la nostra gal\u00e0xia passant pels pols gal\u00e0ctics nord i sud, acostant-se fins a uns 50.000 anys llum del centre de la nostra gal\u00e0xia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Les forces de marea provocades per la Via L\u00e0ctia sobre Sagitari estan produint el seu desmembrament paulat\u00ed. Al cel podem observar estructures amb forma d&#8217;arc que s\u00f3n els reguers d&#8217;estrelles que va sent arrencats de la gal\u00e0xia nana. Aquest corrent estel\u00b7lar no \u00e9s l&#8217;\u00fanic que s&#8217;ha identificat a la nostra Gal\u00e0xia, per\u00f2 s\u00ed que \u00e9s el m\u00e9s prominent i millor estudiat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\" wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\" wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\">El model 3D<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">En este model 3D identifiquem amb facilitat la Via L\u00e0ctia al centre, amb els seus caracter\u00edstics bra\u00e7os en espiral al voltant del bulb o nucli. Enganxat al disc trobem un abultament allargat: \u00e9s la gal\u00e0xia nana esfero\u00efdal de Sagitari, que en l&#8217;actualitat es troba molt a prop del disc de la nostra gal\u00e0xia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Partint des de Sagitari i en direcci\u00f3 perpendicular al disc gal\u00e0ctic podem seguir l&#8217;estructura del corrent estel\u00b7lar format pel reguer d&#8217;estrelles que la Via L\u00e0ctia ha robat a Sagitari. Els abultaments xicotets representen estrelles, i l&#8217; entramat en qu\u00e8 es troben es pot interpretar com el gas i pols que han arrossegat amb si.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">La pres\u00e8ncia de bucles al corrent indica que Sagitari ha completat diverses \u00f2rbites al voltant de la Via L\u00e0ctia, aproximadament sempre en un mateix pla de l&#8217;espai que passa pels pols nord i sud de la gal\u00e0xia, com era d&#8217;esperar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">En el model, la mida del disc de la Via L\u00e0ctia ha estat exagerada per poder connectar amb ell el corrent estel\u00b7lar, que en la realitat no est\u00e0 enganxat a la nostra gal\u00e0xia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">El model ha estat creat per Emilio Terol (OAUV), Alberto Fern\u00e1ndez Soto (IFCA) i David Mart\u00ednez Delgado (CEFCA) fent servir dades reals obtingudes amb el sat\u00e8l\u00b7lit europeu Gaia, que ha mesurat les posicions de mil milions d&#8217;estrelles amb gran precisi\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\" wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-info has-heading-font-family has-custom-font eplus-wrapper\" style=\"font-family:heading\">Este treball ha sigut realitzat amb una ajuda de la convocat\u00f2ria de Projectes R+D+i \u201cProves de Concepte\u201d 2022 (PDC2022), finan\u00e7ada per la Uni\u00f3 Europea a trav\u00e9s dels Fons NextGenerationEU, Pla de Recuperaci\u00f3, Transformaci\u00f3 i Resili\u00e8ncia.
