El disc t\u00e9 un di\u00e0metre aproximat d&#8217;uns 100 mil anys llum i \u00e9s molt prim, amb nom\u00e9s 1000 anys llum de gruix. No \u00e9s pla sin\u00f3 que posseeix una forma lleugerament alabeada. El nostre Sistema Solar es troba en un dels bra\u00e7os exteriors del disc, a uns 26 mil anys llum del forat negre central supermassiu, anomenat Sagitari A*, la massa del qual s&#8217;estima en unes 4.2 milions de vegades la massa del nostre Sol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Con\u00e8ixer l&#8217;aspecte prec\u00eds de la nostra gal\u00e0xia \u00e9s complicat ja que estem immersos en ella i no la podem veure des de fora. Per\u00f2 amb les dades de qu\u00e8 es disposa, principalment les obtingudes per la missi\u00f3 europea Gaia, i observant altres gal\u00e0xies semblants a la nostra per tot l&#8217;Univers, ens podem fer una idea prou bona de com \u00e9s en realitat. Aix\u00ed, s&#8217;estima que la nostra gal\u00e0xia alberga com a m\u00ednim 100 mil milions d&#8217;estrelles, encara que podrien arribar a ser 400 mil milions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">La Gal\u00e0xia \u00e9s de tipus espiral barrada, amb bra\u00e7os espirals que es subdivideixen en bra\u00e7os secundaris, i un disc lleugerament alabejat. Les espirals barrades es distingeixen per presentar una formaci\u00f3 en forma de barra composta per una gran concentraci\u00f3 allargada d&#8217;estrelles, gas i pols, que creua el centre de la gal\u00e0xia. Els bra\u00e7os espirals s\u00f3n el lloc on es concentra la major quantitat d&#8217;estrelles, gas i pols interestel\u00b7lar d&#8217;una gal\u00e0xia espiral. L&#8217;halo no apareix perqu\u00e8 ha estat representat en un altre dels <a href=\"https:\/\/astrokit.uv.es\/?p=2149\">nostres models 3D<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\" wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-heading-font-family eplus-wrapper has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\" wp-block-heading eplus-wrapper\">El model 3D<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">El nostre model 3D ha estat realitzat a partir de dades cient\u00edfiques de la Gal\u00e0xia obtingudes en sondejos com el realitzat per la missi\u00f3 espacial Gaia de la ESA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\" eplus-wrapper\">El conjunt dels bra\u00e7os espirals defineix el disc de la gal\u00e0xia, que en el cas de la Via L\u00e0ctia no \u00e9s pla sin\u00f3 lleugerament alabejat. S&#8217; hi poden distingir diverses estructures:<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\" wp-block-list eplus-wrapper eplus-styles-uid-2fc4f1\">\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">El nucli gal\u00e0ctic, al centre, amb forma d&#8217; abultament esf\u00e8ric. \u00c9s on resideix el forat negre central, Sagitari A*.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">La barra central d&#8217; estrelles, gas i pols, un abultament allargat que es perllonga des de costats oposats del nucli<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Dos bra\u00e7os espirals principals, que s&#8217;inicien als extrems de la barra<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">Bra\u00e7os secundaris, que s\u00f3n subdivisions dels dos bra\u00e7os principals. Es tracta de regions amb molt de relleu, on trobarem abultaments que representen estrelles amb una mida molt m\u00e9s gran de la que tindrien realment si estigueren en l&#8217;escala correcta en relaci\u00f3 a la mida del disc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\" eplus-wrapper\">\u00c0rees llises entre els bra\u00e7os, llocs on n&#8217;hi ha una menor abund\u00e0ncia de gas i pols.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\" wp-block-spacer eplus-wrapper\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-info has-heading-font-family has-custom-font eplus-wrapper\" style=\"font-family:heading\"><strong>Este treball ha sigut realitzat amb una ajuda de la convocat\u00f2ria de Projectes R+D+i \u201cProves de Concepte\u201d 2022 (PDC2022), finan\u00e7ada per la Uni\u00f3 Europea a trav\u00e9s dels Fons NextGenerationEU, Pla de Recuperaci\u00f3, Transformaci\u00f3 i Resili\u00e8ncia.
