Our project to print 3D tactile astronomical resources for blind and visually impaired people has received a \u00abProof of Concept\u00bb project grant within the framework of the national program to promote scientific-technical research and its transfer, from the National Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research Plan 2021-2023, in its 2022 call, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this funding we have acquired a Lisa 3D printer (by Sinterit), with SLS technology, with which we will develop prototypes of 3D models related to the research lines of our group: stars, galaxies, large-scale structure and cosmology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will soon start publishing the new models on this website!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
